At Forest Lakes Kent, we have a dedicated carp fishing lake open to visitors and members alike. The lake is located in a woodland area with plenty of shade in summer, and it overlooks rolling hills and the countryside, so you can unwind and enjoy a peaceful day or night in Ashford. We have an on-site store selling carp bait, homemade boilies, bite alarms and more, so you are well equipped for your session. Or, if you are looking to fish a different feisty species, we also have a dedicated catfish lake, so we have something for everyone.

Our Carp Lake Rules

We have a few rules for people looking to fish in our lake for the safety of our lake and fish:

Landing Nets Must be Dipped on Entry
No Keep Nets
Anglers Must Have a Valid UK Rod Fishing Licence
Dogs Must be Kept on Leads

Landing nets must be dipped upon entry because this is a biosecurity measure that helps prevent the transfer of disease between waters. We also love having dogs on-site, but we ask that they be kept on leads so as not to scare the fish and to ensure that the experience is peaceful for everyone else.

Come Carp Fishing with Us Today

Our fishing lake, based at Manor Farm in Ashford, was created by people with a genuine passion for fishing, so we aim to provide visitors and members with everything they need to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing day by the water.

Our carp lake has 11 swims with plenty of room for a bivvy, rods set out and room to move around, and we offer day and night carp fishing tickets, including 12hr, 24 hr, 36 hr and 48hr options. In addition to our bait shop, we offer a selection of snacks and drinks, as well as a Portaloo near the site entrance. When the weather is dry in spring or summer, you can drive straight up to our lakes, which makes them easy to access. We also lock the gates every evening and have CCTV to ensure safety.
