If you are planning a new driveway or need repairs in Watford or the surrounding areas, you may have questions about the available materials, installation process and costs. Here are answers to some of the most common questions about Royalty Driveways and the services I provide.
Royalty Driveways is a family-run driveway company offering installations, repairs and resurfacing for domestic and small commercial properties. I work with block paving, tarmac, resin and gravel, as well as providing patios, pathways, edging and drainage solutions.
I offer:
Tarmac driveways provide a practical, hard-wearing surface suitable for homes, parking bays and larger areas. I offer black, red and buff tarmac, with smooth or textured finishes. Block paving, brick or resin-bound borders can also be added to create a more individual appearance.
Yes. I can carry out driveway repairs even if I did not install the original driveway. Depending on the condition, I can repair cracks and potholes, replace damaged blocks or slabs, reseal joints, repair edging and drainage, or resurface affected areas. If an exact material match is not possible, I will discuss the alternatives before starting.
Gravelling involves excavating and preparing the area before installing a compacted sub-base and finished gravel layer. I offer traditional loose gravel and self-binding gravel in different colours and grades. A weed-suppressant membrane can also be installed where appropriate, with timber or metal edging available to define the area.
Block paving is available in different colours, sizes, finishes and patterns. I can install herringbone, basketweave and stack-bond designs, along with contrasting borders and edging courses. I use Marshalls and Brett products and can also discuss permeable paving where surface-water management is required.
Yes. Alongside domestic projects, I work on larger areas such as parking bays and small commercial sites, including retail units and offices.
